WHAT A RECRUITER MUST DO WHEN THE HIRING FOR ANY JOB PROFILE GOES ON HOLD?

When hiring for any job profile goes on hold, and there are applications received on ATS for that profile. These applications can either be in a New state or in any other hiring state.

In the case of New, the recruiter can open the Prescreen action tab, and select the Hiring on-hold option from the Prescreen Result dropdown list. Click Submit.

In case of any other hiring stages like – Prescreen, Test, Interview, and Prehire, the recruiter can open respective tabs and select the Hiring on-hold option from the respective Result/Mark Candidate as/Status dropdown list. Click Submit.

The status of the candidate will be marked as Application Closed.

WHAT ARE THE STEPS TO FOLLOW WHEN A CANDIDATE IS NOT INTERESTED ANYMORE WHILE BEING IN INTERVIEW STAGE?

When a candidate is not interested anymore in the applied job while being in the Interview stage, select the option Applicant not Interested from the Status dropdown list. Click Submit.

The status of the candidate will be marked as Application Closed.

WHAT ARE THE STEPS TO FOLLOW WHEN A CANDIDATE IS NOT INTERESTED ANYMORE WHILE BEING IN TEST STAGE?

When a candidate is not interested anymore in the applied job while being in the Test stage, select the option Applicant not Interested from the Mark Candidate as dropdown list. Click Submit.

The status of the candidate will be marked as Application Closed.

WHEN WILL THE STATUS OF A CANDIDATE TURN TO NOT ELIGIBLE TO HIRE/RE-HIRE ON ATS?

By selecting the Prescreen Result on Recruiter Actions > Candidate List > Prescreen form as Not eligible to Hire/Re-Hire. Click Submit.

The status of the candidate will be marked as Application Closed.

WHEN WILL THE STATUS OF A NEW CANDIDATE OR THE CANDIDATE WHOSE PRESCREEN PROCESS IS IN PROGRESS TURN TO APPLICATION CLOSED ON ATS?

By selecting the Prescreen Result on Recruiter Actions > Candidate List > Prescreen form as the following:

  1. Applicant not interested
  2. Hiring – on hold
  3. Close

Click Submit.

The status of the candidate’s application will turn to Application Closed.

CAN ATS GENERATE EMPLOYEE ID/CLOCK NO.?

No. ATS do not generate the Employee ID/Clock No. On ERRIS, the Employee ID/Clock No will be generated, once the New Hire form of any candidate is moved to ERRIS.

CAN A RECRUITER EDIT ANY DETAILS ON NEW HIRE ONCE IT IS MOVE TO ERRIS?

No. Once the New Hire form of any candidate is moved to ERRIS, then the recruiter will not be able to edit any details of that candidate on ATS.

WHAT IS THE LAST PROCESS OF THE HIRING THE CANDIDATE ON ATS?

Once the candidate is hired and has joined the organization, the recruiter can move the New Hire form to the employee Database i.e., ERRIS, by clicking on the Move to ERRIS button.

HOW CAN A RECRUITER RECORD THE DETAILS ON ATS FOR A NEWLY HIRED EMPLOYEE WHO DIDN’T JOIN THE ORGANIZATION?

Follow the steps mentioned below:

  1. Open New Hire
  2. Provide Remarks.
  3. Click on Save as Drop Out button for the candidates who didn’t join the organization after the successful hiring process.
  4. Confirm the Drop Out action.

The status of the candidate will be displayed as Drop Out on the Candidate List page.

CAN A RECRUITER SAVE AN INCOMPLETE NEW HIRE FORM FOR A NEWLY HIRED EMPLOYEE ON ATS?

Yes. The recruiter can save an incomplete New Hire form for a newly hired employee on ATS by clicking on Submit button and can complete the form any time before moving it to ERRIS.

The status of that candidate will be displayed as Hire In Progress on the Candidate List page.
